Could lip interpret be the topical cigarettes?
Bear with me.
I was truly rolling my eyes and laughing out loud at this 'Lip Balm Anonymous' site I stumbled upon when scoping out my next brand of lip make notes on. But I got curious and did some 'homework' on it. Lip gloss chancy? Its actually a little true...
Experts say aloud that some lip glosses contain low levels of organize or other toxic chemicals. Women go through tubes a year, and this will add up as you practically lick and breathe the substance surrounded by. And the tasty lip smackers don't have a long vivacity span at all with me.
I expect, they're addictive, the main ingredient is wax or simple water, but after you moisterize your mouth and the moisture wears off, your jaws are even more chapped than before. So on goes another branch.
Menthol lip glosses or lip plumpers burn and irritate your lips. The apt 'tingly' sensation you feel from menthols is them damaging and drying out your orifice.
Answers:
Lip gloss being dodgy? That's just absurd. If lip make notes on has lead toxins within it, then wouldn't people that put it on be departed (even small traces in it can kill you).
I can udnerstand why you're against lip explain or any lip product, but they're safe. I don't believe that this "Lip Balm Anonymous" website actually exists.
Why are they considered secure? The Food and drug Administration checks ALL ingredients in food products, everyday items, and COSMETICs. The FDA wouldv'e informed the public and give out warning. Even people would sue the company.
As for your idea of oral cancer, oral cancer just occurs in the mouth. Not outside of your mouth or your jaws. That would be skin cancer of what you're trying to prove.
Your ideals are ridiculous.

people have a choice whether they want to put lip balm/lip interpret on if they want to. As for the risk, how many people get skin cancer based on their lips alone? I've never hear of such a thing. Skin cancer exist, but lips do not regularly pose a bigger risk than the skin itself. People are addicted because they like the look and like the get the impression of moisturized lips.
I think its an exagerration to vote that liking lip balm is an "addiction" or an "obsession."
How sure are you in the order of these websites? They can lie, and often pose forged news to appeal to the readers and come to the website.
And where on earth and what are the scientific proof? They're just OPINIONS from scientists, opinion does not pose as a true fact. unless there are some actual experimental proof of this, I wouldn't believe it.
Wow. I'm scared immediately. I'm addicted to Victoria's Secret's line of Beauty Rush lipgloss. I seriously own all of them. Every time they own a new flavor, I buy it. Oh my.

Wow I never thought of it that way.
As for the addiction, I don't regard as its actually "addiction." Its more of after you use them, your lips are more chapped, not a soul likes that feeling and look of chapped chops, so we just use more. I don't think that it is resembling "omg, I HAVE to have some gloss!" and afterwards we go out and sneak it just to receive our "fix"
There are some lip products withh SPF in it. I use the ones without the interpret (I don't like the sticky feeling of the actully shiny gloss)
Very interesting though! I'm glad that you put this on here!
lol in a minute I'm thinking about my lips and I'm craving to put some stuff on. Maybe it IS an addiction?
breathe heavily
:)
This is very interesting.
but if this was true, and it was really dodgy wouldn't the government do something about it? is that officially recognized?!
i am personally not addicted to lipgloss, i don't like the consistency but there's alot of logic surrounded by this. especially the drying and damaging aspects, i have notice that my lips are dryer after my lipgloss has dried.
grill: does this apply to chap stick?
There has to be something in in that to make women want to use lip gloss so much. I am guilty I use it constantly. I hold two tubes on my desk at home, about eight in my drawer or around my bureau at work, one in the secretaries desk at work, and several in my coupé, purse, or husbands vehicle.
I am seriously addicted and I would agree that it probably isn't good for us.
